Why Employee Assessments?

Essentially, assessments help organizations make better hiring decisions, quickly and inexpensively. From pre-screening, hiring and promoting, to coaching and succession planning, assessments are cost-effective, time saving tools that will help your company ensure employees are truly suited to their jobs.

Did you know that, on average, two out three employees would rather work somewhere else? Turnover costs thousands of dollars for every departing employee, yet 80% of turnover is avoidable. Unfortunately, many employers have accepted high turnover as a business reality, and continue to perpetuate ineffective hiring methods. Assessments allow you to make hiring decisions based more on information, and less on gut.

Only about 10% of a person’s behavior can be described by what others can observe through day-to-day interactions. Our assessments are based on sound scientific and psychological principles and give organizations in-depth, objective, comprehensive and reliable information about their people. This includes:

 How they think
Their natural tendencies, behaviors and preferences
How they interact with peers and managers
 Attitudes toward important performance-related issues

This information enables the organization to select the best people for a job, improve communication between employees and their managers, improve team performance and organizational climate in order to build consistent culture and values.

Performance Solutions Source is qualified to offer a portfolio of employee assessments targeted to improve your selection process or guide employee development. Our assessments are often paired with supportive training or coaching to ensure maximum results. While a selection of the assessments we offer are outlined below, contact us at Performance Solutions Source or call 561-307-6954 to discuss your specific needs.
